Superdenim source one of England’s finest shoemakers in Trickers for a new series of shoes for spring. Undoubtedly the most notable of the pack is Superdenim’s take on the Bourton Brogue. Notwithstanding the interesting color treatment, the shoe itself is based on a wedged sole and relatively chunkier last. Available now at Superdenim.

Under the direction of Kazuki Kuraishi, British brand CASH CA has enjoyed a great bit of revival. The W-Line Jacket under his guidance combines some of the Japanese designer’s sensibilities in regards to detailing with an overall casual demeanor. The sleeve design ensures proper movement while tonal blue stripes complete the jacket, which is available now at rumors.

Nike Air Royal Mid

The Nike Sportswear design team fused outdoor inspiration with premium fabrication to create the Nike Air Royal Mid in new colorways for the Spring 2011 collection. Smalls hits of bright color, ‘Your time will come’ tongue tab linked with apparel collection, rugged eyelets and perforated Swoosh design trademark modernize this style. The Nike Air Royal took direct design cues from the classic 80’s era Nike Basketball silhouettes.

A total of three colorways (bronze/challenge red, white/victory green and black/vibrant blue) launch beginning January 1, 2011 primarily in Europe, Japan, North America and select emerging markets.

A Bathing Ape recently made its latest inroad into the Chinese market with a new BAPE STORE in Beijing. Located at the ground floor of the I.T Beijing Market within the VILLAGE shopping district, the store’s interior maintains a familiar theme courtesy of Wonderwall’s architectural involvement. A full selection of A Bathing Ape lines are offered with some limited edition opening items such as T-shirts, Bapestas and Shark hoodies.

Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola recently unveiled her latest series of furniture. Entitled “Silver Lake”, the collection reportedly draws inspiration from the brand of modernism associated with 1950’s California. Certainly blending angular edges with restrained, minimalist aesthetics the collection should prove to be versatile, a feature much needed across homeware. Produced by Moroso, the selection of armchairs and sofas seamlessly blend wood, steel, fabric and leather.

David Donahue channels the spirit of the Scots with this pair of silver cufflinks with the heraldic Lion Rampantfeatured.
